In 2007, Prof. Daizo Tsutsumi teaching in Kyoto University has started developing the Integrated Rainfall-Infiltration-Slope Stability Model (IRIS Model) which combines rainfall-infiltration and slope stability modules. Later, this model have been improved again by Dr. Chen-Yu Chen in 2014.
