- 04 Wood Control Engineering
- Wood control engineering is a type of gully control structure used in soil and water conservation engineering. Its functions include adjusting the gully slope gradient, reducing the tractive force of water flow, stabilizing the flow direction and thalweg, and securing the flow path to prevent lateral erosion and protect the gully banks. Additionally, it traps sediment to mitigate downstream sedimentation issues, promotes vegetation cover, and helps maintain soil fertility.
